Felista Wangari is a Kenyan journalist with nine years’ experience covering women and girls and health and science. She was drawn to journalism by her passion for social justice and her desire to highlight overlooked issues affecting women and girls.
Felista is also a data journalist with an interest in data-driven projects that highlight critical issues that underlie the numbers. Beyond data, her current interests lie in examining how people respond to social problems and the effectiveness of their interventions (solutions journalism), as well as collaborating with journalists from other countries on stories on common issues that cut across borders.
