As a Senior Editor at the Ghana News Agency, Asante-Agyei coordinates the Health and Science desk and mentors junior journalists.
She is the co-founder and the Secretary of Media Network on Health, co-founder and executive of the Media Communication and Advocacy Network in Ghana, and co-founder of Media Action for Reproductive Health (MAT-RH) among many other networks to educate the public with facts and accurate information on many issues with special emphasis on health.
She was part of the team that developed a Training Manual on “Adolescent Reproductive Health for Schools” in Ghana in 2003 sponsored by the UNFPA.
