I am Lami Sadiq, a data and investigative journalist who is currently the Bureau Chief for the Daily Trust newspaper in Kaduna State, northwest Nigeria. Until 2020, I was the Bureau Chief for the newspaper in Plateau State, north central Nigeria and I have 11 years working experience as a journalist.
I am a 2019 fellow of the Report Women Female Reporters Leadership Programme of the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism, the 2019 Journalist of the Year in Plateau State. I am also a 2021 Fellow of the Kwame Karikari Fact Check by Dubawa. I have a BA and Masters in Mass Communication from the University of Jos where I’m currently pursuing a PhD in journalism.
