A Journalist with 19 years continuous experience across many fields of news gathering and editing with strong control on different communication approaches. Very enterprising in nature, good networker and people oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines and balance competing priorities.
My experience over the years has exposed me to the different demeaning conditions under which people live and has developed a strong passion for advocating and supporting strategies in effectively implementing interventions and social protection strategies to improve the lives of people especially women and children.
My future inclination is to become a Communication Specialist with a renowned institution focused on women empowerment and child protection, working together with the team to strengthen forward and backward linkages for enhanced organisational image. I possess strong analytical skills and more importantly my ability to learn and adapt to changes. Proficient in the use of the computer (MS word, PowerPoint, internet ) and linguistically diverse.
