Ejiro Umukoro

Ejiro Umukoro is a multi-award-winning Investigative Journalist and Social Entrepreneur. Her data-driven investigative report into the rise of female student cult-gangs in Delta State prompted the Delta State Government to declare an emergency educational response to addressing this issue across schools in the state.

She is an Awardee and Fellow of the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Reporting Women Leadership Program. Umukoro has served as a Mentor with the ICIR-MacArthur Foundation capacity building program for Journalists and was the Pioneer General Manager of MEGA 89.1FM, Warri.
